The Goodman ASPT Air Handler have replaced the old ASPF series with a brand new improved model. The SmartFrame Sub-Structure is at the heart of this design - a new skeleton which adds lateral stability to the chassis, new mounting locations for internal components and additional insulation retention. It also eliminates the need for external side and back screws. It also features an ECM motor achieving high efficiency in a multi-speed air handler. These new models are 4 way multi-position, capable of upflow downflow or horizontal airflow direction. Unit ships ready for upflow or horizontal left - downflow or horiz. right is a simple conversion process. The ASPT model has a painted finish and factory-mounted thermal expansion valve (TXV).
